Die Galerie amarte, mitten in der Aarauer Altstadt gelegen, wurde Ende 2016 von der Künstlerin Karin Antoniucci-Hentschke gegründet, und widmet sich der zeitgenössischen Kunst.
Sie zeigt in erster Linie Werke verschiedenster Schweizer Kunstschaffender und bietet auch jungen Talenten eine Plattform, auf der sie sich etablierten Künstlern gegenüberstellen können.
Ebenfalls werden internationale Künstler ausgestellt, vor allem italienische MalerInnen und BildhauerInnen, da die Galeristin engen Kontakt mit der italienischen Kunstzene pflegt.
Das Konzept von amarte sieht 8-10 Ausstellungen pro Jahr vor, in denen Malerei, Bildhauerei, Fotografie, Installationen und Performances gezeigt werden.
